1. Accenture’s CEO: 5 rules for rethinking digital transformation during COVID-19

We all understand the pressures that we are under from COVID-19, but we need to understand how to adapt and grow past it. Committing to digital transformation means making use of the best technology available to your organization.

In this article, Fortune asks Accenture’s CEO Julie Sweet to give her five rules on digital transformation during the Covid-19 crisis. Chief among them being facing the hard facts of what’s happening around us. This pandemic has changed the game and if enterprises are going to overcome then they need to accept reality.

“Billions of people around the world almost instantaneously changed their behavior, with profound and lasting implications for business. Companies can’t simply reduce costs and “freeze,” but must accelerate to new levels of digital performance to serve new customer expectations, adapt to the health challenges of COVID-19, and pivot to new growth opportunities.”

Getting advice from an effective leader like Julie Sweet is highly valuable especially considering the times. That’s why we recommend reading this article for yourself.

2. Industry-wise RPA Use Cases: How Automation Is Redefining Business Landscape?

There are many articles spread across the internet on RPA use cases, but it’s always nice when good examples are gathered together for convenience’s sake. Analytics Insight has gathered solid examples here for a few industries that are prime for RPA adoption.

3. NASA’s New Moon-Bound Space Suits Will Get a Boost From AI

This one from Wired is just cool…

How can’t you love hearing about how NASA is using artificial intelligence to design the next generation of spacesuits. Talk about futurism, this is futurenow. If you want to read about the features of modern space suits, while learning about how AI is designing portions of the suits quickly then you should click on the link. If not, well I guess we have a difference of opinion on what’s awesome and what’s not.

4. What Is Robotic Process Automation and How Does It Benefit Federal IT?

For us, RPA is an ideal solution for the Federal Government. It doesn’t require a lot of change in what the Government already has and is fast to implement. That’s why we really like this article from FedTech magazine.

Overall it’s a great overview of what RPA is, why it’s good, and how to use it. All in the context of it being used for the government. If you happen to work in public service and you read one blog this week I’d recommend that one. Of course, only after you finish reading this one and contacting us for help with your RPA implementation.

5. How to deploy RPA responsibly in the COVID-19 era

COVID-19 is accelerating digital transformation. One of the best technologies to adopt as part of your digital transformation is RPA. This article from Venture Beat goes through pretty much everything you would need to know when it comes to using RPA to revolutionize your processes.

Don’t believe us? Well here’s a quote.

“While automation initiatives were initially put on hold at the start of COVID, this new world has shone a spotlight on major gaps in existing processes, creating a greater need to optimize resources, accelerate company performance, and improve business resilience. As Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said in April, because of COVID-19 “we have seen two years’ worth of digital transformation in two months.”

Venture Beat frames the thinking you need to do before making RPA adoption a priority.

6. How AI systems use Mad Libs to teach themselves grammar

Machine learning (ML) is a big part of our offerings at Insystech, so we pay close attention to updates in the field as they happen. This article from Tech Xplore is good for a couple of reasons.

First it shows off the power of using machine learning. AI is getting better and better at understanding and using language. As we grow these machine learning models they are becoming crucial to be used effectively by enterprises.

Secondly it’s a great example of innovative training machine learning models and gives readers a good idea of how it works. So if you’re just trying to learn more about ML this is a great article for you.

This is definitely a development to keep your eyes on, and you can read more on their official announcement here.

RPA giants UiPath have added an exciting new feature which allows developers to drag and drop trained ML models directly onto the RPA workflows they are building, and get real-time updates on bot performance and ML model training.
